Levels exist as a flexible guide to help students select an ability-appropriate class. On occasion schedules do not permit attendance to the perferred class. Accommodations can be made. Please feel free to contact Erin if you have questions.
| Level 1 | A basic introduction to the Iyengar method: Muscular coordination and alignment are taught through standing poses, seated poses, and supportive backbends. Shoulder stand is eventually introduced. |
| Level 2 | A more advanced inquiry into Level 1 poses, plus the introduction of headstand, core poses, and pranayama (breathing exercises). |
| Level 3 | For students with a solid understanding and practice of the asanas. One should feel accustomed to timed inversions, as well as holding all poses for a longer time period. More advanced, un-supportive backbends are introduced and more advanced variations of level 1-2 poses. |

If you have a small group that is interested in forming a private yoga class, I am available to teach to groups with either a general yoga interest or a specific-need. Please contact Erin to discuss your ideas and for more information.
